Autopsy results show a 2-year-old Delta, La., child died of blunt force trauma to the head, Warren County Deputy Coroner Kelda Bailess said this morning.

Rashad Graves, 209 Ouachita Ave., died Saturday afternoon at River Region Medical Center after being taken there by ambulance for head and neck injuries.

The Delta Marshal’s office is reported to be investigating the case, but messages left this morning and over the weekend have not been returned. Madison Parish Sheriff’s Office was also on hand at the hospital Saturday.

Rashad was born July 4, 2007. He is survived by his parents, Sandra Graves and Robert Harris, and an older sibling.
