MAYERSVILLE — CeKavion Deandre Rodgers of Memphis and formerly of Mayersville died Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2009, at Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital in Jackson. He was 7.

He is survived by his mother, Wanda Rodgers of Memphis; his father, Dedrick Hillard of Kansas City, Mo.; and a brother, Brian Newell of Greenville.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Moon Lake M.B. Church in Mayersville with Jeff Wallace officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Sinai Cemetery in Mayersville. Wake service will be from 6 until 7 tonight at Walker Funeral Home in Rolling Fork.
