Tops in health care Vicksburg, you can be proud.
My husband and I are in a motor home in transit from our home in Wisconsin to our home in Rancho Mirage, Calif. We came to Vicksburg to see the Civil War sites. My husband became very ill and we called 911.
The ambulance took him to River Region Medical Center where he received emergency care. The emergency was more acute than we first had thought and River Region’s staff saw fit to do a few tests before releasing him. It turned out that he needed ICU and stayed for six days until the doctors were confident in his condition.
I am a retired RN and have seen hospitals in 32 countries and 48 states. My opinion is that this hospital, its entire staff from the paramedics to the discharge nurse, is in my top 10. Vicksburg, you are very fortunate to have this facility in your town.
