The engagement of Krystal Renee Honeycutt to Matthew Dennis Norris, both of Vicksburg, is announced today. Vows will be exchanged at 2 p.m. Nov. 14, 2009, at Bowmar Baptist Church. A reception will follow.

Miss Honeycutt is the daughter of Greg and Christine Honeycutt of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of Dean Jhonson and Bobby Jhonson, both of Vicksburg; Eddie and Sharon Farrish of Richland; Marlon and Ann Drew of Clinton; Grover and Betty Pace of Brandon; and Jerry Honeycutt of Jackson.

Mr. Norris is the son of Dennis and Leah Norris of Vicksburg. He is the grandson of Winifred Norris of Bastrop, La., and Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Kieffer of Sulphur, La.

The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Warren Central High School, where she was a member of the National Honor Society and First Priority. She received an associate degree from Hinds Community College, where she was a member of the Student Nurses Organization.

Miss Honeycutt is a registered nurse at River Region Medical Center.

The prospective groom is a 2006 graduate of Vicksburg High School. He studied electrical technology at Hinds Community College, where he was on the dean’s and president’s lists.

Mr. Norris is a civil engineering technician at the Engineering Research and Development Center.
