Hunter and Mathews to recite vows Oct. 11

The engagement of Elizabeth Lane Hunter of Rolling Fork to William Lee Mathews of Vicksburg is announced today. The wedding will be during Sunday services at 10:30 a.m. Oct. 11, 2009, at The Church of the Holy Trinity, Episcopal. A reception will follow at McInnis Parish Hall. All relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Ms. Hunter is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Decell Lane of Greenville.

Mr. Mathews is the son of Jane Toney Mathews and the late Arther Lee Mathews of Vicksburg.

The bride-elect received a degree in agronomy from Mississippi State University. She is an administrative coordinator with Crop Production Services and has one son.

The prospective groom received a bachelor’s degree from Delta State University and his juris doctorate from the University of Mississippi School of Law. He is assistant district counsel with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Vicksburg District.
