Mr. Moody marries McGloster on July 18

Semiko Bredell Moody and Katrina Nicole Jones McGloster were married at 3 p.m. July 18, 2009, at Zion Travelers Church on Poplar Street. The Rev. Phillip Burks officiated at the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Michael and Michelle McGloster of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of Louise Blake and the late Willie Blake, Mary McGloster, Jimmy Jones and the late Flossie Jones and Malcolm and Mary Gaines, all of Vicksburg.
The groom is the son of David and Catherine Moody of McLain. He is the grandson of the late Frank and Fannie Moody of McLain and the late Walter and Lucille Carter of Waynesboro.
Given in marriage by her parents, the bride’s chosen colors were midnight blue and crystal.
A program of nuptial music was presented by Donell Ellis, pianist, and LaKeisha Bryant, soloist.
Maid of honor was Tiffany Jackson of Vicksburg. Matron of honor was Ebony Berry Gardner of Vicksburg. Bridesmaids were Candace Blanks, Cortney Blanks and Kashaun McRunells, all of Vicksburg; LaKeisha Bryant, Aspen Hardges and Chiquita Hill, all of Hattiesburg; Erica Myles of Jackson; Stephanie Moody of McLain; and Carmen Lewis of Dallas, Texas.
Junior bridesmaids were Delexis Blake and Kerricka McRunells, both of Vicksburg.
Darius Jermaine Cato of Hattiesburg served as best man. Groomsmen were Brandon Dobson, Brandon Nabors, Kawaski Owens and Avery Thompson, all of Hattiesburg; Brandon Moody, Carlos Moody, Damarcus Moody and Rameriz Moody, all of McLain; and Charles Canda of Vicksburg.
Junior groomsmen were RaeKwon Blake of Vicksburg and Mekhi Wigham of Hattiesburg.
Ushers were Derrick Gardner of Vicksburg and the late Jason Smith of Hattiesburg.
Flower girls were Brandasia Moody and Reanna Moody, both of McLain. Ring bearer was Jahvion Jernigan of Vicksburg.
Bible bearer was Damarcus Moody of Hattiesburg.
Mistress of ceremonies was Tangela Myles.
Special wedding assistant was Latasha Jackson
A reception followed at the Vicksburg City Auditorium.
Hostesses were April Bingham, Patricia Bishop, Cynthia McRunells, Tangela Myles, Rosetta Reed and Nada Sykes, all of Vicksburg; Bridget Bridges of Ridgeland; and Conchita Monroe of Fayette.
For a wedding trip, the couple traveled to Key West, Fla. They will make their home in Vicksburg.
The bride is employed at Visions Physical Therapy, and the groom is employed with Cajun Constructors.
