A Vicksburg couple arrested at their home late Monday night on Grange Hall Road were charged with manufacturing and possession of methamphetamine.

Bryan Taylor, 39, and his wife, Cassandra Taylor, 32, both of 353 Grange Hall Road Lot 22, were charged after police responded to neighbors’ complaints of odors coming from the home, Vicksburg police Lt. Bobby Stewart said.

Stewart said the Taylors had just finished producing the drug when patrolmen arrived at 9:18 p.m.

“They had a shake-and-bake lab in the bathroom,” he said.

Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics assisted with the investigation, Stewart said.

The Taylors, who were the only people in the house at the time of the arrests, were being held without bond at the Warren County Jail this morning pending an initial court appearance.
