A Vicksburg man was charged for manufacturing and possession of methamphetamine at police headquarters Tuesday after being treated and released from River Region Medical Center for ingesting the drug Monday night.

Timothy Hutson, 38, 1355 Warrenton Road, was picked up at 9:30 p.m. Monday at the home of Bryan Taylor, 39, and wife, Cassandra Taylor, 32, the same night the couple was arrested for the same offenses, said Vicksburg police Lt. Bobby Stewart.

Hutson was in a vehicle with Bryan Taylor when patrolmen arrived at Taylor’s home at 353 Grange Hall Road, Lot 22, Stewart said. Police reported Tuesday that no one was in the house with the Taylors, but did not say Hutson was outside.
