A Vicksburg man was arrested at his home Tuesday morning on an August grand jury indictment for soliciting a child to engage in sexually explicit conduct.
Jack Blackstock, 62, 110 Melissa Drive, was being held without bond at the Warren County Jail pending an arraignment in circuit court as early as today, Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace said.
The child is younger than 14, the sheriff said.
The case initially was taken to the Warren County District Attorney’s Office, which worked with deputies to present it to the grand jury after weeks of investigation, Pace said.
To protect the child’s identity, the sheriff declined to provide more details.
