Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ronald Britt of Magee announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Jean, to Justin Curtis Maggio of Jackson. Mr. Maggio is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Miller Maggio of Vicksburg.

Miss Britt is the granddaughter of Mrs. Charles Emery Britt and the late Mr. Britt and Mrs. John Clyde White and the late Mr. White, all of Magee.

Mr. Maggio is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. William W. Curtis and the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank A. Maggio Sr., all of Vicksburg.

The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Simpson County Academy. She received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Southern Mississippi, where she was a member of Kappa Delta sorority, and a Master of Business degree from Mississippi College.

Miss Britt is an auditor with the Mississippi Office of the State Auditor.

The prospective groom is a 2000 graduate of Vicksburg High School. He received a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management from the University of Southern Mississippi, where he was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity.

Mr. Maggio is a sales representative for Sysco Food Sales of Jackson.

The wedding will be Nov. 28, 2009, at First United Methodist Church of Clinton. A reception will follow at the Mississippi Craftsman’s Center in Ridgeland.
