Cash, games, cigs among missing items

A gym bag, cash and cigarettes were among items reported missing in Vicksburg, police Lt. Bobby Stewart said.

• A black gym bag and contents valued at $100 and a leather portfolio valued at $75 were reported stolen at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday from a 2006 Ford F-150 pickup parked at the Outlets at Vicksburg on South Frontage Road.

• About $625 and a PlayStation PSP and six games valued at $370 were reported stolen at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday from a 2006 Ford F-150 pickup parked at Walmart, 2150 Iowa Blvd.

• About $2 in change was reported stolen at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday from a 2007 Mazda parked at Riverwalk Casino on Warrenton Road.

• Two cartons of Newport cigarettes valued at $27.95 each and four boxes of Swisher Sweets cigars valued at $6 each were reported stolen from 4-Way Grocery, 3613 Wisconsin Ave., at 2 this morning.

“Upon arrival, police found the front door window knocked out,” said Stewart. “Video surveillance showed a black male about 5-foot-8 inches, 130 pounds with a dark hoodie sweatshirt and denim shorts.”

Man held at jail on sanction

A Vicksburg man was in the Warren County Jail today for drug court sanction, records showed.

Albert Walker, 38, 1300 Freetown Road, was being held without bond.
