Tina Blue

UTICA — Tina Blue died Friday, Oct. 23, 2009 at University Medical Center in Jackson. She was 43.

Mrs. Blue was a native of Copiah County and lived in Utica most of her life. She was a member of the Baptist Church at Dentville.

She was preceded in death by her father, Freddie Carraway, and her maternal grandfather, Elvin Rav Ford.

She is survived by a son, Govern Blue of Tallulah; two daughters, Chrissi Blue of Jackson and Tracy Blue of Clinton; her mother and stepfather, Lamar and Eloise Cook of Utica; a brother, Rusty Fowler of Jackson; two sisters, Annie Lee of Houston and Emma Carraway of Austin; four stepsisters, Lynn Parks of Utica, Wanda Laquesta of Oklahoma, Becky Lanney of Texas and Tammy Sibley of Vicksburg; her maternal grandmother, Helen Tompkins Ford of Utica; and three grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Faith Baptist Church in Utica. Burial will follow at Faith Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be today from 4 until 8 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church.
