BULLARD, Texas — Services for Lynda Marie Newman were to be at 2 p.m. today at Boren-Conner Funeral Home in Bullard with the Rev. Andy Fauss officiating.

Mrs. Newman died Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2009, in a Tyler, Texas, hospital. She was 66.

She was a native of Vicksburg and had lived in the Tyler area since 1977. She worked in medical records at Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler and was a Baptist.

Survivors include two sons, George Edward Newman of Tomball, Texas, and Ray Eugene Newman of Tyler; a daughter, Virginia Marie Horton of Chandler, Texas; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
