Melissa Hunter, left, holds Kaitlyn Bullock, 5, daughter of Roger Bullock, right, as they participate in the Bridging the Gap, a 5-kilometer non-competitive fundraiser on the U.S. 80 Bridge Saturday. The fundraiser was sponsored by Living Independence for Everyone of Mississippi and had more than 100 participants. All money raised will benefit LIFE of Mississippi in helping people with disabilities live independently. Hunter is from White Oak, Miss., and the Bullocks are from Madison.  (Meredith Spencer*The Vicksburg Post)
