Louise J. Blake died Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009, at River Region Medical Center. She was 92.

Mrs. Blake was a homemaker. She was a member and mother at Greater Mount Olive No. 2 M.B. Church and a member of Order of the Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Giles and Lutitia Ross; her husband, Willie Blake Sr.; one son, Chester Blake; and two daughters, Viola Cooper and Flosie Johnson.

Survivors include two sons, Willie Blake Jr. of Pascagoula and A.J. Blake of Anniston, Ala.; two daughters, Thelma Jean Summers and Dorothy McRunnells, both of Vicksburg; and one brother, Lucius Giles of St. Louis.
