GREENVILLE — The Rev. R.T. Strong of Greenville died Monday, Nov. 2, 2009, at Arnold Avenue Nursing Home in Greenville. He was 99.

Mr. Strong was pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Vicksburg for 55 years.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Calvary Baptist Church on Klein Street with Jarvis Smith officiating and at 11 a.m. Saturday at Old Jerusalem Baptist Church in Greenville with the Rev. Rudy Smith officiating. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday at Byas Funeral Home in Greenville.
