MUSCLE SHOALS, Ala. — Frances Bliss Brown, age 73, went to be with her Lord and Savior. She lived on this earth, bringing inspiration and love to all about her.

Her funeral service will be Monday, Nov. 16, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Highland Park Baptist Church. Her body will lie in state two hours before services.

A private burial will be at Colbert Memorial Gardens. Officiating is the Rev. Ted Vafeas.

Mrs. Brown is survived by her husband of 51 years, James B. Brown, and their two sons, J. Russel Brown (Pamela) and David Cameron Brown (Jean). There are three grandsons, Heath Brown (Shannon), Connor and Blake Brown, one great-grandson, Trevor Brown, a sister, Barbara Quirk of Vicksburg, as well as several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bus Fund at Highland Park Baptist Church in Muscle Shoals, Ala.
