I want to thank Rep. Bennie Thompson for his example of sensitive and effective leadership not only of the 2nd District of Mississippi, but of our United States as he also serves as Homeland Security chairman in the House. His support of our president, both verbally and through his votes, is very much appreciated. I thank him for his votes on health care.

Mississippians are grateful for him being in Washington and, though we don’t all live in his district, we consider him our congressman.
