Glenda Kaye Clements

HAGERSTOWN, Md. — Glenda Kaye Clements, a loving mother, grandmother and sister who will be missed by many friends and family and will always be in our hearts, passed away Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009, in a tragic automobile accident near Hagers-town, Md. She was 54.

She grew up and lived in Utica for 30 years and moved to western Maryland, where she lived until the time of her death.

She was an insurance agent for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lena and John Wesley Clements.

Survivors include one son, Jess Alan Cessna of Utica; two daughters, Brandi Ann Cessna of Utica and Stephanie Leigh Cessna of North Carolina; a brother, Earnest Henry Clements of Utica; three sisters, Mellany C. Kitchens and husband, Larry, of Flora, Peggy C. Bickel and husband, Axel, of Utica and Faye C. Arthur and husband, Bobby, of Prattville, Ala.; and two grandchildren, Devin Michael Cessna and Elizabeth Claire Cessna, both of Utica.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Glenwood Funeral Home in Utica with the Rev. Brad Hartzog officiating. Burial will follow at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home Saturday from 10 a.m. until the service.

Pallbearers will be Randy Cessna, Mark Kitchens, Chris Kitchens, Vic Puckett, Ben Chapin, Eric Rigby, Clay Currie and Carl Flowers.
