Precious Moments Learning Center

The daycare center has donated 50 fruit baskets for patients at the Vicksburg Convalescent Home.

About 20 children delivered the baskets Friday. It was the center’s annual gift-giving event.

Vicksburg police and fire departments

The Vicksburg police and fire departments will duke it out in a basketball game. Proceeds will benefit the United Way of West Central Mississippi this holiday season.

The game will be at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Vicksburg High School gym. Admission is $2 per person.
