BATESVILLE — Ja’Nay Nicole Sanford died Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009, at Le Bonheur Children’s Medical Center in Memphis. She was 15.

Miss Sanford attended Batesville Elementary School.

She is survived by her parents, Renee Hall Sanford of Batesville and Lee Roy Sanford of Courtland; five brothers, Shawn Brown of Batesville, Armond Wiggins of Courtland, and Lee Roy Mitchell, Donnell Sanford and Dontrell Sanford of Hattiesburg; two sisters, Angela Farmer of Oakland and LaTonya Fondren of Charleston; her maternal grandmother, Jean Robinson of Brooklyn, N.Y.; caregiver Reine Robertson of Courtland; and other relatives and friends, including Sabrina Robinson-Taylor of Waldorf, Md., and the Brown, Cameron, Davis, Hall, Hudson, Smith, Thomas and Tolliver families of Vicksburg.

Williams Funeral Service of Vicksburg has charge of arrangements.
