Marie Elizabeth “Betty” Courtney died Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2009, at River Region Medical Center. She was 64.

Mrs. Courtney was born in Greenville, lived in Rolling Fork for a number of years and had been a Vicksburg resident for the past 10 years. She was a former employee of Western Auto.

She is survived by a cousin, Berry Regan Farr of Raymond, and other relatives.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Mound Cemetery in Rolling Fork with the Rev. Norman Maranto officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home.
