MSU’s Dixon earns first-team All-SEC honors

Mississippi State running back and Conerly Trophy winner Anthony Dixon earned first team All-SEC honors, and Ole Miss had three players on the first team, the Associated Press announced Monday afternoon.

Ole Miss wide receiver Shay Hodge, offensive lineman John Jerry and all-purpose back Dexter McCluster earned first-team honors. McCluster also earned second-team honors at running back.

Miss. State’s Pernell McPhee earned second-team honors at linebacker, while Ole Miss’ Jerrell Powe earned second-team honors as a defensive lineman.
