JACKSON — Tevis Tyrone Davenport died Thursday, Dec. 3, 2009, at Crossgates River Oaks Hospital in Brandon. He was 41.

Mr. Davenport was a member of Mount Shiloh Baptist Church in Edwards.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Erma Jean Davenport; and maternal grandparents, Charlie and Emma Davenport.

Survivors include his father, Gentle Robinson of Miami; a sister, Tammie Robinson of Miami; a brother, Kelvin Davenport of Jackson; two sons, Tevis Harris of Vicksburg and Zachary Davenport of Edwards; two daughters, Erma Davenport of Vicksburg and Richela Davenport of Edwards; two grandchildren; and other relatives and friends including the Hinkle, Williams and Cage families.

Williams Funeral Service has charge of arrangements.
