BALCH SPRINGS, Texas — Willie “Will” Watson died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2009. He was 48.

Mr. Watson was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Selia Mae Clavelle Watson Keys; maternal grandparents, Joseph Clavelle, Mary Lee Toven Clavelle and Willie Lewis; and paternal grandparents, the Rev. Harry Foster and Aretha Foster.

Survivors include a son, Corey Watson of Bay St. Louis; a daughter, Jawanna Watson of Vicksburg; his father, Riley Watson of Bay St. Louis; nine brothers, Lorenzo Watson, Riley Watson Jr., Michael Watson, Mark Watson, Daniel Watson, Johnny Watson, Alexander Watson, Larry Keys and Darrelle Keys, all of Dallas; four sisters, Glory Regan and Linda Watson, both of Vicksburg, and Gloria Ann Young and Mary Ann Watson, both of Dallas; and one granddaughter.

A memorial service will be at 3 this afternoon at W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home with the Rev. Johnny Lee Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
