George and Kathryn Osborn will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Dec. 26, 2009. They were married in Winnsboro, La., and have made their home in Vicksburg since 1964.

They have one son, Thomas Osborn and wife Janell; one daughter, Kathy Davidson; and one grandson, T.J. Osborn, all of Vicksburg.

The Osborns will be honored by their children and grandson with a reception from 2 until 4 p.m. Saturday at Immanuel Baptist Church’s Activities Building. Friends and relatives are invited; no in-town invitations are being sent. No gifts are requested.
