6 auto burglaries reported during weekend

Four auto burglaries believed to be related were reported at three Vicksburg hotel parking lots Saturday morning, police Sgt. Sandra Williams said.
A Raven Arms .25-caliber handgun and a gas card were reported stolen from a 2009 Dodge at Holiday Inn Express, 4330 S. Frontage Road, at 6:20 a.m.
About 5 minutes earlier, a Prodigy suitcase and clothes valued at $400 together, two gift cards valued at $50 total, a Rampage coat valued at $130, a sweater valued at $25, a pair of earrings valued at $10, three DVDs valued at $20 and a scarf valued at $15 were reported stolen from a 2008 Nissan Versa at Fairfield Inn, 20 Orme Drive.
A window of a 2001 Mercedes E55 was broken in the same parking lot, but nothing was reported stolen at 6:10 a.m.
A camouflaged-colored military bag valued at $200, a Black & Decker flashlight valued at $60, a pair of Black & Decker jumper cables valued at $80, an infrared heater valued at $300, a set of keys and a pair of gloves valued at $20 were reported stolen from a 2002 Ford F-150 at Candlewood Suites, 1296 S. Frontage Road, at 5:55 a.m.
Williams said she believes the burglaries were related to six auto burglaries at the motels on Nov. 22. She said no suspects have been identified.
Separately, a stereo and tires were reported missing in two more auto burglaries during the weekend.
A Pioneer CD player was reported stolen from a 2001 Chevrolet Impala in the 1900 block of Baldwin Ferry Road at 3:32 p.m. Friday.
A set of tires and rims were reported stolen from a disabled 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier at Army-Navy Drive and Confederate Avenue at 11 a.m. Saturday.
A Smith & Wesson .22-caliber pistol and a Colby DVD player valued at $40 were reported stolen from a home in the 400 block of Locust Street at 2:59 p.m. Friday.
Stolen van found on Roseland Drive
A stolen van was found abandoned in the 100 block of Roseland Drive at 11:37 a.m. Sunday, Vicksburg police Sgt. Sandra Williams said.
The 2007 Chrysler Town and Country had been reported stolen from the 100 block of Country Club Drive on Dec. 14.
County thefts include camera equipment
In Warren County, coins, electronics and camera equipment were reported missing during the weekend, records showed.
A 1-gallon Peter Piper pickle jar filled with change valued at $300 was reported stolen from a home in the 200 block of Rancho Road at 3:48 p.m. Sunday.
A PlayStation 2 game console valued at $150 and assorted PlayStation video games valued at $100 were reported stolen from a home in the 900 block of Blossom Lane at 11:11 p.m. Saturday.
A Sony Mavica camera valued at $600, a Sony wide angle lens valued at $60, a Sony telephoto lens valued at $80, a Sony camera bag valued at $60, a Kodak digital camera valued at $500 and a Phillips portable DVD player valued at $225 were reported stolen from a home in the 4800 block of Gibson Road at 3:17 p.m. Saturday.
