Virginia Gantt died Sunday, Dec. 20, 2009, at her residence. She was 63.

Born in Thomaston, Ga., Mrs. Gantt had lived in Vicksburg for the past nine years. She was a retired school teacher and a member of Wayside Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Lloyd Gantt.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date under the direction of Riles Funeral Home.
