Caitlin Rose Lopez died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2009, at River Region Medical Center. She was 15.

Caitlin was a lifelong Vicksburg resident and a member of Grace Baptist Church. She was a home-schooled student who loved music, dancing, friends, hunting and her family.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Domingo Lopez.

She is survived by her parents, Johnny and Rose Marie Lopez of Vicksburg; three sisters, Sydney Case and husband David and Kimberly Greer and husband Kevin, all of Vicksburg, and Kristy Lopez of Tallulah; her boyfriend, Joshua Hoffman of Tallulah; her nephew, Seth Case of Vicksburg; her maternal grandparents, Wayne and Evon Trim of Vicksburg; her paternal grandmother, Eulilia Lopez of Tallulah; and her great-grandparents, Richard Wooten of Grenada and Helen Sanders of Edwards.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Glenwood Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bryan Abel officiating. Burial will follow at Yokena Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon Saturday until the hour of the service.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Lopez, Manuel Lopez, Tony Lopez, Wally Lopez, Todd Harrell, Bo Trim, Robert Mitchell and Cole Trim.
