Marjorie Helen Few White died Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2009, at her home. She was 79.

A Eupora native, Mrs. White had lived in Vicksburg for a number of years. She served as home economist for Wilkinson County for 25 years and for Warren County for 10 years. She received a master’s degree in home economics from the University of Southern Mississippi.

Mrs. White was preceded in death by her parents, Glenwood and Myra McCorkle Few; and her husband, Warren White.

She is survived by a daughter, Linda White of Baton Rouge; and a brother, William Few of Vicksburg.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Fisher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Green Acres Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Saturday until the service.
