A Vicksburg man reported missing by his wife Saturday was found by police on Sunday.

Fred Burnell Carter Jr., 57, was last seen by his wife leaving their home at The Park Residences, 4223 I-20 Frontage Road, on Dec. 19, said Vicksburg police Sgt. Larry Holloway.

This morning, Vicksburg police Sgt. Sandra Williams said police found Carter at a home in the 600 block of Locust Street at 10:58 a.m. Sunday.

He had been there since he left home, Williams said.

Initailly, Carter’s wife, who said her husband was disabled due to health problems, told police he was driving her 2006 Cadillac SRX to another residence of theirs on Lane Street to make repairs, Holloway said.

He was not injured and in good condition, Williams said.
