One of the 6-year-old twins injured in a four-wheeler wreck that killed a 15-year-old Warren County girl on Dec. 23 returned home Monday from the University Medical Center.

Kaylee “Karlisle” Madison did some “wheelies before she left” the hospital late Tuesday afternoon, said her mother, Selena Madison. Karlisle went home with her grandmother Kim Nosser in Vicksburg.

Her sister, Kimberly “Klausen” Madison, who is now eating and able to spell her name, remained in good spirits and good condition this morning at the Jackson hospital, Selena Madison said.

“I can’t even express how great she’s doing,” Selena Madison said.

Klausen received a visit Tuesday from Johnny and Rose “Bodie” Lopez, whose daughter Caitlin R. Lopez died about an hour after the wreck, Selena Madison said.

“They loved her the way they loved their daughter,” she said.

The sisters and Caitlin were thrown from the all-terrain vehicle when it ran into a fence, flipped and hit a tree on Campbell Swamp Road.
