ATLANTA — Donnell Young died Monday, Dec. 28, 2009, at Southern Regional Hospital in Atlanta. He was 40.

Mr. Young was a 1988 graduate of Vicksburg High School.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Juanita Young; and a sister, Chenara Young.

Survivors include his wife, Katie D. Young; three daughters, Heather Young, Katie Donniela Young and Dianna Junita Young, all of Hampton, Ga.; his father, Tom Carter Jr. of Vicksburg; two sisters, Gloria Young and LaKisha Young, both of Lithonia, Ga.; two brothers, Robert Young Jr. of Greenville, S.C., and Greg Jenkins of Vicksburg; and other relatives, including Betty J. Bell and Freddie Robinson, both of Vicksburg.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Divine Mortuary LLC. Burial will follow at Hillandale Memorial Park in Atlanta. Visitation will be from 6 until 7 p.m. Friday at the mortuary.
