HOMER, La. — Louis U. Kleinman died Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2009, at his home in Homer, La. He was 88.

Mr. Kleinman was born in Vicksburg to William Magee Kleinman and Olivia Hinson Kleinman. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Hodge and Clara Malveg; and two brothers, Bill Kleinman and Terry Kleinman.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Classie M. Kleinman of Homer; three sons, Don Kleinman of West Monroe, Ron Kleinman of Homer and Kenny Kleinman of Monroe; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and other relatives.

Memorial services were at 2 p.m. Dec. 26, 2009, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Homer with Willie Dean officiating.

Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Homer Chapel, was in charge of arrangements.
