Clash in the Kitchen set for Jan. 14

Clash in the Kitchen, a culinary showdown to benefit the Mississippi Firefighters Memorial Burn Association, will feature two Vicksburg chefs.

From 6 to 9 p.m. Jan. 14 at The Rainbow Room at Rainbow Casino, Jay Parmegiani of ROCA Restaurant and Bar and John Kellogg of Cedar Grove Mansion will battle it out in a contest.

Tickets are $40 and are available at ROCA, Cedar Grove or Rainbow Casino.

Lebanese Dinner at St. George Feb. 1

St. George Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church will host its 50th Lebanese Dinner Feb. 1.

Dine-in or take-out meals will be available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 5 to 7 p.m. Lebanese sweets will also be sold.

Pancakes Feb. 16 at Christ Episcopal

Christ Episcopal Church will host its annual Shrove Tuesday pancake supper Feb. 16.

Tickets are $6 for adults and $3.50 for children. They will be available at the door or in advance at the church, 1115 Main St. Homemade desserts will also be sold.

Proceeds will benefit community outreach.
