David D. McLeod Sr.

David D. McLeod Sr. died Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2010, at his home. He was 58.
Mr. McLeod was a retired construction contractor. He was a soccer, little league baseball and football coach for many years. He was also the youth director at Bradley’s Chapel United Methodist Church for 20 years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Emmitt McLeod; and a brother, John Russell McLeod.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley McLeod; his mother, Isabel Cole McLeod; two daughters, Angie McLeod Williams of Ridgeland and Velvet Winkler of Tupelo; a son, Bo McLeod of Vicksburg; three brothers, Richard McLeod of Grenada and Ronnie McLeod and Donald McLeod, both of Vicksburg; and eight grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home with the Revs. Ted Giordano and Harry Hawkins officiating. Burial will follow at Hackler Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the service.
Pallbearers will be Mitch Worthy, Tony Worthy, Mark Hinson, Gus Grimshel, J.R. Reaves and Gerry White Jr.
Honorary pallbearers will be Roger Lester, Mike Hearn, Henry Williams and Bobby Stewart.
