Dr. John Markley of Homer, La., and Nancy Davern of Vicksburg were married at 2 p.m. Nov. 7, 2009, at Triumph Church of Vicksburg. The Rev. Mike Fields officiated at the ceremony.

The bride was given in marriage by her son and daughter, Michael Davern and Colleen Cummins. Colleen Cummins of Vicksburg also served as matron of honor.

Best man was Bob Markley of New Orleans.

A reception followed at the church.

The couple will make their home in Homer, where the groom is senior pastor of Grace Bible Church.
