Verna Gene Glatt died Monday, Jan. 11, 2010, at River Region Medical Center. She was 64.

Mrs. Glatt was born in Bastrop and lived a number of years in Arkansas before moving to West Monroe in 1980 and Vicksburg three years ago. She was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her son, Mike DeFee; and two brothers, Aubrey N. Causey and Larry C. Causey.

Survivors include her husband, Dalton Glatt of Vicksburg; a son, Steven DeFee of Calion, Ark.; two brothers, Ronnie Causey of Calhoun, La., and Durwood Causey of DeRidder, La.; and six grandchildren.

Glenwood Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
