Megan Givens scored a game-high 22 points and blocked five shots to pace Tallulah Academy to a 44-30 win over Tensas Academy on Tuesday. Allie-Kate Gossett added eight points for the Lady Trojans (19-3, 3-1 in District 6A).

The boys also won, squeaking out a 60-56 decision over Tensas. It was the Trojans’ sixth straight win and moved them to second place in District 6A. Jes Shivers and Jake Busby scored 16 points apiece, while J.R. Fortenberry added 15 points for the Trojans (13-8, 4-1).
