NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — Wanda Denise Rader Sanders died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2010, at Sentara Careplex Hospital in Hampton, Va. She was 36.

Born in Vicksburg, Mrs. Sanders was a resident of Newport News, Va., where she managed Piercing Pagoda Jewelry Store. She was a member of Gethsemane M.B. Church in Newport News and Mount Carmel M.B. Church in Vicksburg.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ray and Margaret Ruth Ross; and her paternal grandparents, Theresa T. and Fred George Rader.

She is survived by her husband, Demetris Sanders of Newport News; one son, Simeon Alexander Sanders of Newport News; her parents, David M. Sr. and Rosie M. Rader, both of Vicksburg; two brothers, David M. Rader Jr. of Atlanta and Donald Ray Rader of Vicksburg; one sister, Angelia E. Rader of Vicksburg; and nieces, nephews and other relatives, including members of the Ross, Sanders, Hollins, Qualls, Bailey and Rader families.
