2 sentenced in circuit court|Court report

In Warren County Circuit Court for the week ending Friday:

• Dewayne C. James, 39, 1411 East Ave., pleaded guilty to uttering a forgery and was sentenced by Circuit Judge M. James Chaney to 140 days in jail followed by four years of probation, plus restitution, fines and court costs totaling $2,822.50. James was also ordered to complete an inpatient program at Warren Yazoo Mental Health. He was arrested Aug. 27.

• Bryan Blake Neihaus, 21, 452 Tilton Ranch Road, was found guilty of violating probation and sentenced by Circuit Judge Isadore Patrick to one year in the Mississippi Department of Corrections Intensive Supervision Program (house arrest). Neihaus was arrested March 6, 2008, for grand larceny. In a separate hearing with Chaney presiding, Neihaus pleaded guilty to attempted burglary of a business and was sentenced to a concurrent year of house arrest followed by four years of probation, plus fines and costs totaling $1,322.50. Neihaus was arrested on that charge May 9.
