Services for Georgia Allen Boykins will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home, with a Rosary recitation at 7:30 p.m.

Mrs. Boykins died Monday, Jan. 12, 2010, at Belmont Place. She was 97.

Mrs. Boykins was born in Allen, Miss., and was a lifelong resident of Vicksburg. She was a 1928 graduate of the Warren County Consolidated Agricultural High School, a homemaker and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She served as president of the Kuhn Hospital Aid Association, and was an active member of the Warren County Extension Homemakers Council, St. Mary’s Sodality and Magnolia Homemaker’s Club.
