Obama errs about unity

In an interview with People magazine due for publication this weekend, President Obama has conceded he “hasn’t been able to bring the country together.” I heartily disagree! I haven’t felt such a “togetherness” with my friends among conservative Republicans, Tea Partyers (sic) and right-thinking independents in a long time. Liberals and “progressive” Republicans need not apply.
The “transparency” and “bipartisanship” the Obama administration has demonstrated is truly inspirational — the “how-not-to” variety! This national leadership philosophy is deeply into the surreal! I think the double-whammy Mr. Obama received in Copenhagen is an inspiration. Failure (gross) to get the Olympic Games for Chicago and the specious “global warming” conference demonstrate how “US-er” friendly the Europeans are to him. I can’t wait to see what Mr. Obama does with global warming after this little cold-snap we have been experiencing. I think that, in a few years, we may be overrun with polar bears. I hope they realize how tasty bogus climate-scientists are!
Things may change between now and November, but I hope Mr. Obama continues to “unite the nation” in the way he has up until now!
I think of the next election cycle this November and I can’t help but salivate! Ben Nelson, Blanche Lincoln — bye-bye. And Harry Reid. I hope he knows how to deal blackjack in Las Vegas!
I pray that not only can the conservatives destroy this “liberal mental illness” in Washington, but I dream of a conservative caucus of veto-overriding proportions. One can dream, can’t one? Keep it up Mr. O, you and your pet Congress members!
By the way, the Vicksburg Tea Party and their stalwart cohorts are laboring very hard to get signatures on a petition to require voter ID at the polls during voting. Seek them out! Sign! You have nothing to lose but your chains!
