Services for Garfield Wilkerson will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Travelers Rest M.B. Church with the Rev. Thomas Bernard officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 until 7 at the W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home and Friday at 10 a.m. until the service at the church.

Mr. Wilkerson died Friday, Jan. 15, 2010, at his home. He was 90.

He was a self-employed carpenter and World War II veteran who served in the U.S. Army. He was a native of Warren County and was of the Baptist faith.
