In Warren County Circuit Court for the week ending Friday:

• Michael Wayne Kerns, 33, 46 Nebla Drive, pleaded guilty to possession of a weapon after felony conviction and was sentenced by Judge M. James Chaney to one year and one day in prison followed by three years of probation, plus fines and court costs totaling $1,322.50. Kerns was arrested Sept. 11.

• Alfred Taylor, 42, no address available, pleaded guilty to larceny of a motor vehicle and was sentenced by Chaney to three years and six months in prison followed by one year of probation, plus costs of $322.50. Taylor was arrested June 27, 2006.

• Michael Dewayne Watkins, 24, 1900 Baldwin Ferry Road, Apt. 12D, pleaded guilty to armed robbery and was sentenced by Judge Isadore Patrick to eight years in prison followed by five years of probation, plus restitution, fines and costs totaling $1,762.50. Watkins was indicted in August by the Warren County Grand Jury.
