Not a House matter

I had momentarily forgotten my eighth-grade civics lesson from Joseph Moore Davidson public school in 1939, or thereabouts, that taught me United States treaties were proposed by the president and ratified by the Senate.
Therefore, I failed to be surprised as I read about House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her flock flying in first-class fashion to attend the Global Climate Change get-together to discuss a treaty.
However, after thinking it over and remembering my civics lesson, I was irate that so many representatives were attending this meeting about a matter over which they had no constitutional responsibility.
It makes me anticipate the moment the spirit of the Massachusetts miracle arrives in Pelosi’s district in San Francisco, after it takes a minute in Nevada to polish off Harry Reid.
