Hemphill to help lead division at District

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Vicksburg District has named Pat Hemphill assistant division chief in the Planning, Programs and Project Management Division.
She will participate in long-range planning, management and supervision within the division, as well as the execution of the annual Civil Works Program, averaging more than $300 million. She was formerly a strategic planner and program manager, and led the Leadership Development Program.
Hemphill, a registered engineer in Mississippi, has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Mississippi State. She has completed the Army Management Staff College’s Sustaining Base Leadership Management program.
Hemphill is a Vicksburg native. She and her husband, G.A., reside in the city.
