Woleben, Kolb to wed March 20 in Starkville

The engagement of Megan Elise Woleben to Matthew Nolan Kolb, both of Starkville, is announced today. Vows will be exchanged March 20, 2010, at the Historic Hotel Chester in Starkville. A reception will follow.
Miss Woleben is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Montague of Vicksburg and Dr. and Mrs. Martyn Woleben of Elizabethtown, N.C. She is the granddaughter of Malcolm T. Cupit Sr. of Brookhaven and Mr. and Mrs. William Woleben of Waynesboro, Va.
Mr. Kolb is the son of Jennifer Nolan Kolb of Brandon and Roy Kolb of Jackson. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Louie Nolan of Brandon.
The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Warren Central High School, where she was a member of the National Honor Society, Beta Club, Viking Voices and the cross country and soccer teams.
She received a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education from Mississippi State University, where she was on the president’s and dean’s lists and was a member of Kappa Delta Pi.
The prospective groom is a 2004 graduate of Warren Central High School, where he was a member of the National Honor Society, National Art Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta.
He received a Bachelor of Science degree in software engineering and a Master of Science degree in computer science from Mississippi State University, where he was on the president’s and dean’s lists and was a member of the Association for Computing Machinery.
Mr. Kolb is an independent software developer.
