A Culkin volunteer firefighter studies an overturned 1998 Ford F-150 wrapped in power lines of a downed traffic light on Mississippi 27 between Warren Central High and Beechwood Elementary schools at about 2 p.m. Monday. The pickup driver, Dylan Bradley, 17, 504 Oakwood Drive, was crossing from the high school to the elementary when a 1995 Jeep Cherokee driven south on the highway by Kendra Tolliver, 19, 168 Anderson Road, collided with the pickup, causing it to hit a pole, Mississippi Highway Safety Patrol Trooper Wayne Smith said. Tolliver, her passenger, Joel Forbes, 19, 55 China Grove, and a passenger in the Ford, Alexis Woleven, 27, 654 Dotson Road, Tallulah, were treated and released from River Region Medical Center. After-school traffic was rerouted through Warren Central’s parking lot until the utility lines and wreck debris could be cleared.
