The Vicksburg man sought by FBI agents after being accused of sex crimes and child pornography has been arrested, a spokesman with the U.S. attorney’s office in Jackson said Wednesday.

Bryan Neihaus, 21, 452 Tilton Ranch Road, was caught Friday in Tunica, said Sheila Wilbanks. The U.S. attorney’s office is prosecuting the case and was not informed by FBI agents until Wednesday that Neihaus had been taken into custody, Wilbanks said.

He is scheduled to appear in federal court in Jackson Friday, Wilbanks said.

Neihaus and another man, John Crumpler, 2957 Mount Alban Road, were investigated by the FBI, which served search warrants at the home of Crumpler. Their investigation extended to examining Neihaus’ personal computer, which revealed numerous videos and images of child pornography, authorities said.

Crumpler, whom a family member said is 33, appeared in federal court Tuesday.
